Your Content
You retain full ownership of all audio files, images, comments, and other content you upload to The Song Room (“Your Content”). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and transmit Your Content solely to provide the platform's features to you and your collaborators.
We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the platform. You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not infringe any third-party rights.

The Song Room offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. All payments are processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then

We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice sent to your registered email address.
Storage Limits
Each plan includes a storage allowance. If you exceed your plan's storage limit, you will be notified and asked to upgrade or remove files. We will not delete your files without advance notice.

We aim to keep The Song Room available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, apply updates, or experience outages beyond our control. We are not liable for losses caused by platform unavailability.
Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.
On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You should export any content you wish to keep before closing your account.
Intellectual Property
The Song Room platform — including its design, code, branding, and features — is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the platform as described here.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Song Room is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunity.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
